The Fauteuil J.B.X.L takes its inspiration from an elegant yet unusual armchair by Maître Ebeniste Jean Baptiste Lelarge (1743-1802). The design is an echo of classical canons treated in a contemporary manner. Entirely handcrafted by a team of skilled artisans, the original “ecusson” back, typical arched armrests and bolsters found in Louis XVI furniture have been simplified, thus becoming sculptural.
