The J.A dining chair draws inspiration from a “chaise cannée” created by Jean Avisse (1723–1796), reimagined here with a more relaxed seat for contemporary entertaining. The simplicity of its trapezoidal seat is balanced by an écusson-shaped back, both crafted in woven rush, creating a natural contrast with the bleached oak frame.
